"Screen" strength enables the whole! HKC invites you to enjoy the "Oxide" special achievement exhibition

On May 30, Mianyang HKC launched a special achievement exhibition with the theme of "Oxide" inside, and released a series of Oxide/HMO(High Mobility Oxide, high transfer oxide) samples, fully covering traditional LCD display technologies such as MNT/NB/ tablet/vehicle/mobile phone. And OLED/ MLED new semiconductor display technology, further demonstrating HKC's high-end application layout in LCD display technology, as well as its determination to break through in future new display technology.

With more than 20 years of technical advantages in the field of display, HKC has set up a special team of HOT (HKC Oxide Technology) since 2021 to lay out the development of oxide technology. After two years, HKC has completed various challenges such as equipment transformation, new process development, product design upgrade and energy saving and power saving, and finally achieved mass production of oxide technology. The "screen" strength enables the overall situation, realizes the product coverage of LCD display technology and OLED/MLED new semiconductor display technology, and provides comprehensive and high-quality display product solutions for partners.

This "Oxide" achievement exhibition is mainly divided into oxide and HMO two junior colleges.

01, ultra low brush pen 14.5"2.5K 10Hz

Using the characteristics of oxide low leakage current, the product can ensure sufficient and stable pixel voltage even if the refresh rate is as low as 10Hz, achieve 10Hz ultra-low refresh rate, ultra-low power consumption application and meet the LPDT 4.0, sRGB 100% high color gamut to ensure the perfect display of bright colors.

02, Ultra high brush pen 14.5"2.5K 240Hz

The sample is a derivative version of HKC HKC's first planned mass production Oxide NB LCD product. The sample PPI 208, color gamut sRGB 100%, brand customer demand 90Hz, HKC adopts a light mask compatible design, only need to change the electronic scheme and high brush material to support 240Hz ultra-high refresh rate. Color gamut up to sRGB 100%, support FreeSync, heavy logic power consumption compared to a-Si obvious advantages (↓25%).

01, OLED 12.3"FHD

The sample is Oxide Real RGB OLED design with excellent display performance such as ultra-high contrast and high color saturation. It is the result of HKC's independent development of oxide backplane technology and independent design and development of driving solutions. OLED as a new generation of display technology in various fields more and more widely used, HKC HKC actively promote the next generation of HMO OLED backplane technology independent design and development, for the subsequent mass production to do full verification.

02, Mini LED direct display 1.55"

The sample adopts HKC autonomous oxide technology, pitch 0.7mm, color gamut DCI-P3 100%, contrast ratio 1 million :1, with excellent performance of fast response. At the same time, HKC is also actively developing the next generation of Mini LED direct display products with larger size, smaller spacing and seamless stitching.

HMO zone

HMO refers to High Mobility Oxide (High Mobility Oxide), its mobility is 2 to 3 times higher than conventional oxide, charging speed, can meet the needs of higher refresh rate or higher resolution. In addition, HMO is more stable in extreme environments than Oxide, allowing for a wider range of product applications.

HMO is an important part of HKC's new semiconductor display (ISD) business, and its successful development marks that HKC has become the first display technology company in China to develop mass-produced HMO backplane technology after Sharp and LGD.

The products of the HMO zone innovatively adopt a multi-product, multi-application mixed-cut design, a collection of MNT (3 types) + tablet + car + mobile phone and other 4 applications, 6 LCD products, saving development costs, but also improve the efficiency of technology research and development.

First, ultra-high brush display

01, MNT - the world's first 27UHD DRD 160Hz

The sample adopts HKC HMO technology and is equipped with DRD(Data Reduced Driving) technology to realize the combination of 4K 160Hz ultra-high resolution and high refresh rate. The high mobility of HMO ensures that the picture quality is consistent with the normal design, and the source IC is reduced by half. The purpose of cost reduction can be achieved. The sample is equipped with the mini LED backlight independently developed by HKC to achieve the ultimate image quality of HDR 1400, DCI-P3 100%, contrast ratio of 1,000,000 :1 and 1ms ultra-fast response speed.

02, MNT 27QHD 360Hz

This sample is the first planned mass production product of HKC MNT, which achieves 360Hz(overclocked to 400Hz) ultra-high refresh rate at 27QHD high resolution, combined with DCI-P3 100% ultra-high color gamut and 1500:1 high contrast, 1ms fast response, providing fast, accurate and clear competitive protection for esports players.


03, MNT - the world's first 27QHD 500Hz

The sample is the technical pre-research done by HKC MNT for the next generation of e-sports display. The ultra-high refresh rate of 500Hz under 27QHD high-resolution is the highest specification in the current industry, and the extreme response speed of 1ms is equipped with the Mini LED backlight independently developed by HKC to achieve 1152 partition. HDR 1400, DCI-P3 100% ultra high image quality, for esports enthusiasts to provide super immersive experience, use low blue LED, effectively care for the eyes, avoid eye fatigue, improve the battery life of game players.

2. In-cell touch display

At present, mobile phones, tablets and car displays are all products that people need touch functions In daily life, but the traditional on-cell touch requires additional touch cover plate, which cannot meet the needs of users pursuing thin and light products. HKC has introduced in-cell touch technology into various touch products through independent research and development.

01, 6.58"FHD mobile phone display panel

The sample adopts HKC HMO technology to realize HKC's first FHD-level mobile phone display application, equipped with in-cell touch and narrow frame design, the sample supports 10-point touch control, and the signal rate of 120Hz ensures no delay in response. sRGB's 100% high color gamut provides users with gorgeous color displays.

02, 10.95"2.5K flat panel display panel

Also using HKC HMO technology + In-cell touch and narrow frame design, PPI up to 275 is the industry leader in the current in-cell touch flat panel display. With sRGB 100% high color gamut, it can bring a visual feast to consumers. It also supports 10-point highly sensitive touch control, and synchronously supports active pen technology to meet the needs of painting precision.

03, 15.6"QHD car display panel

HKC HMO+in-cell touch and narrow bezel design to meet the design needs of automotive display light and stylish. 10-point touch +120Hz signal rate ensures a silky touch experience. As the first vehicle product of HKC HMO, liquid crystal, polarizer and other materials are specially selected special materials, which are more demanding than consumer products to meet a series of stringent tests for vehicle product certification.
